Xeem Noor is a Malay Muslim Feminist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, currently plundering through the final stages of her PhD Journey. She is currently writing a trans-disciplinary thesis that covers areas of Anthropology, Architecture, Pedagogy and Visual Culture.
Xeem also dabbles in art whenever she has the time. Her works are mostly illustrations, either commissioned or personal. She attempts to incorporate ideas of intersubjectivity, lifeworlds and structure in her work through use of lines, patterns, textures, abstract and geometric.
Secretly, she yearns the “Dr.” in front of her name to justify her quirks as eccentric.
